The Esplande

The best way to see the Esplanade, is to rent a bicycle and ride to the Marina, then back along the esplanade cycleway, stopping for a drink/meal or coffee/cake (great views of Urangan Pier & Woody & Fraser Island). Along the cycleway is Dayman Park and Shelley Beach, a nice place for swimming. As you ride further along the Esplanade, you may happen to notice the various exercise devices beside the cycleway. The esplanade continues all the way around to Point Vernon, a lovely area to take a picnic lunch, bottle of wine, or a good book, and sit or swim on the beach.
